📱 Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. BlockZone does not:

• Collect location data (GPS or network-based)

💾 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is stored exclusively on your device using Android's Room Database and DataStore — it never leaves your device:

• Scores: best score per game mode, recent match history
• Statistics: total games played, total lines cleared, daily play streak
• Preferences: selected theme, vibration and sound settings, grid size, selected block skin
• Ad-free status: timestamp of when you earned a rewarded 7-day banner-free period
• Purchase status: whether you have purchased permanent ad-free or skin packs (verified locally)

All this data stays entirely on your device, is inaccessible to other applications, and is automatically deleted when you uninstall the app.

📢 Advertising — Google AdMob

BlockZone displays ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect certain information to serve relevant ads, including:

• Advertising ID of the device
• General device information (model, OS version)
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
• IP address (for general geographic targeting)

🎬 Rewarded Ads — Banner-Free Feature

BlockZone offers the option to watch one rewarded video ad to remove banner ads for 7 days, at no cost. When you earn this reward:

• A timestamp is saved in your device's local storage
• Banner ads are hidden until 7 days have elapsed from that timestamp
• No personal data is sent to our servers as a result of this action
• You can renew the 7-day period before it expires

🚫 Ad Consent — GDPR / CCPA

BlockZone uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to collect your consent for personalized advertising where required by applicable law (including the EU's GDPR and California's CCPA). Your consent choice is stored locally and can be changed at any time via the app's settings.

🔥 Analytics & Crash Reporting — Firebase

BlockZone uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (both by Google) to improve the app experience:

• Firebase Analytics: collects aggregated, anonymized usage data. No personally identifiable information is linked to these events.
• Firebase Crashlytics: automatically reports app crashes including device info (model, OS version, app version) and a stack trace.

💳 In-App Purchases

BlockZone offers optional in-app purchases through Google Play Billing. All payment processing is handled entirely by Google — we never receive, store, or process your payment information.

🔑 App Permissions

BlockZone requests the following Android permissions:

• INTERNET: required to load ads, send crash reports, and validate purchases
• VIBRATE: provides haptic feedback when placing blocks and clearing lines (can be disabled in Settings)
• com.android.vending.BILLING: required to process in-app purchases through Google Play

We do not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, or external storage.

🔒 Data Security

Because we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data stored on our servers. The game data stored locally on your device is kept within Android's application sandbox, inaccessible to other apps.

👶 Children's Privacy

BlockZone is a casual puzzle game suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app complies with COPPA by not collecting any personal data from any user.
